What's on the lunch wheel
The wheel comes loaded with twelve entries that cover most weekday lunch categories: lighter picks like Salad, Soup, and Wrap; heartier options like Ramen, Burrito, and Grain Bowl; and slightly more specific choices like Sushi Bento, Poke, and Falafel. That spread means the result is usually actionable — you can find most of these within a few minutes of any office or campus.
If today's options don't match your situation — no ramen place nearby, you're eating at your desk — swap entries out. Delete the ones that don't apply with the X next to each entry, type your actual local spots or meal ideas into the text field, and press Enter to add them. The wheel adjusts instantly.
Settling a group lunch with the lunch wheel spinner
When a group can't agree, spin publicly so everyone sees the result at the same time. If one person has a dietary restriction that rules out the winner, hide that entry using the eye-toggle — it stays in the list but gets skipped on every spin — and spin again. That way you're not deleting anything permanently, and you can restore hidden entries later.
Turn on Remove Winner if you're running a bracket-style decision: each spin eliminates its winner from the pool, so you keep narrowing the field until the group is happy. The winner dialog shows share buttons (native share, copy-to-clipboard, X, WhatsApp, Facebook) so you can drop the result straight into a group chat.
Adjusting the wheel to match what you actually have access to
The default twelve entries are generic categories. For a more useful daily driver, replace them with real names — your three favourite spots near the office, or the five meals you actually rotate through at home. Use bulk import (paste a newline-separated list into the import area) to load a whole new list in one go, or upload a .csv file if you've already got your options in a spreadsheet.
If you want one option to come up more often — say you're trying to eat more salads — raise its weight using the numeric input on that entry row. A weight of 2 gives it roughly twice the slice size and twice the frequency of a weight-1 entry. Not quite sure what else to add? Hit the Ideas button and the wheel will suggest more lunch entries based on what's already in your list.
