What's on the candy wheel
The wheel comes pre-loaded with 12 well-known candies covering the main categories: chocolate bars (Snickers, Twix, KitKat, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, Butterfinger), peanut butter (Reese's), candy-coated chocolate (M&Ms), fruit chews (Skittles, Starburst), sour gummies (Sour Patch), and gummies (Gummy Bears). That mix means whatever mood you're in — chewy, crunchy, chocolatey, or sour — the wheel has it covered.
You can swap any entry out or add your own favourites. Type a name in the entry field and press Enter, or paste a whole list at once using the bulk import text area. Want to weight the wheel toward a favourite? Give that entry a higher number in its weight field and it'll take up a larger slice — and win more often.
Ways people actually use a candy wheel spinner
Halloween and party games
Pass the device around at a Halloween party and let each guest spin for their treat. Turn on Remove Winner so each candy only comes up once — perfect for working through a prize bag without repeats.
Settling the snack debate
Can't agree on which candy to buy? Load everyone's top picks, spin once, and commit. It takes the negotiation out of the snack run entirely.
Classroom rewards and raffle prizes
Teachers use candy pickers to randomly assign treat prizes. Add student names to a separate wheel, or keep this one for picking which candy prize is up for grabs. The full wheels library has other classroom-friendly options too.
Taste-test challenges
Setting up a blind taste test? Spin the candy wheel to decide the order you try each one — removes any bias in the sequence and adds a bit of drama to the reveal.
Customising the wheel for your candy list
The 12 defaults are a starting point. If your household only stocks three types of candy, delete the rest with the X next to each entry. If you've got a full Halloween haul, bulk-import the whole list in one paste. You can also hide an entry with the eye toggle — it stays in the list but gets skipped during spins, handy if something runs out mid-party without you wanting to fully delete it.
For the look, pick from 16 colour palettes in the Customize panel — Candy and Bubblegum palettes are an obvious fit here, but Neon and Carnival work well for a party setup. Hit Shuffle colors to remix the current palette's order across the slices.
If you want to build a completely different food wheel from scratch, the wheel generator lets you start with a blank slate. Or browse the Food hub for other themed wheels — the breakfast wheel is a popular one for morning decisions.
