Remove any drinks your café doesn't serve by clicking the X next to them, or add new ones by typing in the text field and pressing Enter.

  4. 4

Click the Spin button and wait for the wheel to land.

  5. 5

Check the winner dialog for your drink, then share the result or note it in the session history below the wheel.

What's on the coffee order wheel

The wheel comes loaded with 12 drinks that cover the full range of a typical café menu:

  • Espresso — short, intense, no fuss
  • Americano — espresso diluted with hot water
  • Latte — espresso with steamed milk, mild and smooth
  • Cappuccino — equal parts espresso, steamed milk, and foam
  • Mocha — latte with chocolate
  • Macchiato — espresso "stained" with a touch of milk
  • Cold Brew — slow-steeped, low-acid iced coffee
  • Flat White — smaller than a latte, stronger ratio of espresso
  • Iced Coffee — chilled brewed coffee over ice
  • Frappuccino — blended iced coffee drink
  • Chai Latte — spiced tea with steamed milk, caffeine-light
  • Matcha — steamed milk with ceremonial-grade green tea powder

If your café has its own specials, or you want to narrow things down to just hot drinks, you can edit the list before spinning — add entries via the text field, remove any with the X next to it, or clear the whole list and paste in your own.

Good reasons to spin a coffee order wheel

The obvious one: you genuinely cannot decide. But the wheel earns its keep in a few other situations too.

Breaking a rut. If you order the same Latte every day without thinking, spinning forces you off the default. Even landing on something adjacent — say, a Flat White — can be enough of a nudge to try it.

Group orders. When you're doing a coffee run and someone shrugs "I don't mind, surprise me," spin for them. The wheel is faster than negotiating and more satisfying than just picking for them yourself.

Café game. Some people use the wheel as a recurring challenge — spin once a week and order whatever it lands on, no swapping. It's a low-stakes way to work through drinks you'd never choose unprompted. Matcha on a Monday hits differently when it wasn't your idea.

Adjusting the wheel to match your café

Not every café does Frappuccinos, and some menus have seasonal items worth adding. The entry editor next to the wheel makes it easy to tailor the list.

To add a drink, type it into the text field and press Enter. To remove one, click the X on its row. If you want to weight the wheel — say you're open to a Latte more often than anything else — raise that entry's numeric weight above the default of 1. A weight of 3 gives it three times the slice size of a weight-1 entry, so it lands proportionally more often.

You can also hide an entry with the eye toggle without deleting it. That's handy if you're temporarily off caffeine but still want Chai Latte and Matcha available to re-enable later.

If you have a long list to add at once, use the bulk import: paste a newline-separated list of drink names into the text area and they all load in one go. Alternatively, upload a .csv file whose first column holds the drink names.

Not sure what to add beyond the default 12? Hit the Ideas button and the wheel will suggest additional drinks based on the context of what's already there.

For other food-related picks, the Food wheels hub has more — or try the breakfast wheel if the coffee decision comes with a food order.

Sharing the result

Once the wheel lands, a winner dialog opens showing the drink name. From there you can share it directly: the native share sheet on mobile, copy to clipboard, or post to X, WhatsApp, or Facebook. What gets shared is the winning drink name and the link to this page — useful for letting someone know what you've decided, or for sending the wheel to a friend so they can spin their own order.

The spin history panel below the wheel keeps a running list of every result in your current session, so if you're picking for a whole table you can scroll back and see who got what. Need to start fresh? Hit the Clear button in the history panel.

Frequently asked

Q.01

does chai latte have caffeine

The page lists Chai Latte as 'caffeine-light' — it contains less caffeine than espresso-based drinks because it's made from spiced tea rather than coffee, but it is not caffeine-free.

Q.02

what is the difference between cold brew and iced coffee

On this wheel, Cold Brew is slow-steeped (never heated, low-acid), while Iced Coffee is brewed hot and then chilled over ice — different processes that produce noticeably different flavor and acidity.
