Terms of service

Plain-English rules for using Spin The Wheel. Read once, done.

Last updated · July 2026

By using Spin The Wheel (“the service”) at spinthewheel.biz you agree to these terms. If you don’t, please don’t use the service. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom; any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

1. What the service is

A browser-based random-wheel tool for picking one option from a list. Free to use, no signup required for the core wheels. You can create an account for future features, but that doesn’t change how the spinner itself behaves.

2. Fair use

You can use the service for personal, educational, and business purposes. You may not:

  • Use it to conduct real-money gambling, lotteries, or games of chance regulated in your jurisdiction.
  • Automate, scrape, or spider the site at a rate that impacts other users, or scrape our content wholesale into other products.
  • Attempt to break, disable, or evade security features.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or repackage the service or its client code.
  • Impersonate anyone, or use the service to harass, threaten, or defraud others.
  • Use the service to distribute unlawful, hateful, or infringing content.

We reserve the right to rate-limit, restrict, or block usage that breaches these terms.

3. Your content

The wheel entries and settings you type in stay in your browser. They are your content — you own them. You’re responsible for making sure you have the rights to any names, images, or copyrighted material you paste in, and for keeping information private if it needs to be.

When you win a spin and choose to share the result via the winner dialog (X, WhatsApp, Facebook), the shared payload is the winner text and the current page URL — nothing else.

4. Our content

The name “Spin The Wheel”, the site design, marketing copy, wheel descriptions, and category structure are ours. You can share links to any page freely. You may not copy substantial portions of the editorial content into a competing product or claim it as your own. Fair-use commentary and criticism are fine.

5. Accounts

You can sign up with a valid email address. Keep your password secure — we won’t ask for it. You’re responsible for activity on your account. Contact us if you suspect it’s been compromised.

Accounts do not currently unlock cross-device saved wheels or spin history. That’s on the roadmap. Signing up today mostly reserves the address; we’ll email registered users when account features that actually matter go live.

6. Service availability

We try to keep the site up 24/7 but don’t promise uninterrupted service. Occasional downtime for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside our control happens. We may also change, add, or remove features without notice — including archiving specific wheels.

7. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties: merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

The wheel produces a fair random pick. It does not produce advice. Don’t use it to make legally binding, medically consequential, or financially significant decisions. If you do, that’s on you. See the disclaimer.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for direct damages is limited to the greater of USD 20 or the total you paid us in the last twelve months (which, for the free service, is zero).

9. Indemnity

If your use of the service (particularly a misuse that breaks these terms) leads to a claim against us from a third party, you agree to cover our reasonable legal costs.

10. DMCA / Copyright

If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, the takedown process is on the DMCA / copyright policy page.

11. Termination

You can stop using the service any time. We can suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you’ve breached these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, no-warranty, limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution) do survive.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we do, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page changes. If the change is significant we’ll flag it near the top for a while.

13. Contact
