What's on the takeout wheel
The wheel comes pre-loaded with 12 popular takeout options: Pizza, Chinese, Sushi, Thai, Indian, Mexican, Burgers, Sandwiches, Ramen, BBQ, Poke, and Vietnamese. That covers the cuisines most people argue about on a Friday night without bloating the list into paralysis territory.
Each slice gets equal weight by default, so every cuisine has the same shot at landing. If your group always vetoes Indian food, hide that entry with the eye-toggle — it stays in the list but gets skipped during spins. If you're a committed ramen household, bump its weight up using the numeric input on that entry row and it'll occupy a larger slice accordingly.
Editing the list to match your actual options
The preset list is a starting point, not a contract. Type any cuisine or restaurant name into the entry field and hit Enter to add it. Delete anything that doesn't deliver to your area. If you want to overhaul the whole list at once, use the bulk-import text area — paste one option per line and the wheel rebuilds instantly.
Got a spreadsheet of options from a team lunch poll? Upload it as a CSV and the wheel pulls entries from the first column. For a quicker first draft, hit the Ideas button and the built-in AI suggester will surface additional cuisines and concepts you might not have thought of — useful when you're catering for a crowd with eclectic tastes.

Spinning for groups
The Remove Winner toggle is the most useful setting when you're spinning for a group over multiple nights. Turn it on and each winning cuisine disappears from the pool after it lands — no repeats until you've worked through the whole list. It's a low-effort way to run a cuisine rotation without anyone feeling like they're being ignored.
When the winner dialog appears, you can share the result directly to WhatsApp or X, or copy it to your clipboard to drop into a group chat. The share sends the result text and the page URL — handy for looping in whoever's placing the order.

Making the spin feel fair
Every spin is random and independent — past results don't influence future ones. If the group is skeptical, turn on Shuffle on Spin so the entry order reshuffles visibly at the start of each spin. It doesn't change the underlying randomness, but it makes clear that nothing is rigged toward the top of the list.
The spin history section below the wheel logs every result from the current session, so there's a record if anyone wants to check that sushi hasn't won three times in a row. You can clear the history at any time.
