The wheel comes loaded with 12 flavors that cover the full range — from crowd-pleasers like Vanilla and Chocolate to the slightly adventurous like Pistachio and Salted Caramel. Neapolitan is there for anyone who genuinely can't commit even with a spinner's help. Every flavor sits on an equal slice by default, so each one has the same chance of landing.
If your go-to flavor isn't on the list, add it in the entry panel on the right. Type the name, hit Enter, and it joins the wheel immediately. You can also remove any flavor you don't want — say you're avoiding nuts and want Butter Pecan and Rocky Road gone — just click the X next to each entry. The wheel resizes around whatever's left.
Ways to use it beyond solo indecision
The wheel works well for a group. At a birthday party, spin it to decide whose turn it is to pick the next tub. At an ice cream social, use it to assign flavors to toppings stations. In a classroom, it makes a low-stakes activity for a Friday afternoon — same kind of energy as the breakfast wheel for morning routines.
You can also use it as a challenge tool: whatever the wheel lands on, that's the flavor you have to review, make at home, or order the next time you're at a scoop shop — no switching. The Remove Winner toggle below the wheel keeps things moving if you're working through a tasting list; each winner is pulled from the pool after it lands so you never repeat.
Adjusting the wheel to match your actual options
The 12 entries are a starting point. If you're standing in front of a specific shop's menu, swap the wheel out to reflect exactly what they offer. Clear the default list with the Clear button, then paste your flavors as a newline-separated list using the bulk import text area — the whole menu loads at once. You can also upload a .csv file if you've got one handy; the wheel reads from the first column.
Want certain flavors to come up more often? Each entry has a numeric weight field. Raise the weight on Cookie Dough to 3 and it'll occupy three times the slice space compared to a weight-1 entry. Not into any of the defaults? Hit the Ideas button and the AI suggestions panel will generate more flavor names to consider adding.
