What's on the GTA Challenge Wheel

The wheel comes loaded with 12 challenges that cover a wide range of GTA playstyles:

  • 5-Star Chase — get yourself to five stars and survive as long as you can.
  • No Cars — foot travel, bikes, or boats only. No standard vehicles.
  • Pistol Only — your loadout stops at the sidearm.
  • Melee Only — fists, bats, and blades. Nothing with a trigger.
  • No Health Kits — play through without restoring HP. One life's worth of health.
  • Chaos Mode — no rules, maximum mayhem, figure it out.
  • Speedrun Story — pick a mission and finish it as fast as you possibly can.
  • Custom Vehicle — choose one car, bike, or aircraft and stick with it the whole session.
  • Free Roam Mission — no objectives, just survive or cause chaos in the open world.
  • Heist Setup — plan and execute a heist from start to finish.
  • Race Only — jump into races, nothing else counts this session.
  • Golf Round — yes, seriously. Complete a full round at the golf club.

That last one is genuinely brutal after a stretch of Melee Only.

Editing the Challenge List

The 12 defaults are a starting point. You can reshape the wheel to fit your exact server rules or personal challenge tier list. Add a challenge by typing it into the entry field and pressing Enter. Delete any you don't want with the X on its row. If you have a long custom list ready, use the bulk import text area — paste in one challenge per line and they all go in at once.

You can also assign weights to individual entries. If you want Heist Setup to come up roughly twice as often as Golf Round, set its numeric weight to 2 and leave Golf Round at 1. The wheel slice and win probability scale proportionally. Alternatively, use the eye-toggle to hide a challenge temporarily — it stays in the list but gets skipped on spins. Useful when you've just done 5-Star Chase and want to rotate it out for a few sessions without deleting it.

The Ideas button can suggest additional GTA challenges if you're running low on inspiration — it generates contextually relevant ideas you can add straight to the wheel.

Need a wheel for a completely different kind of game night? The gaming hub has wheels for other titles and genres, or you can build something from scratch on the wheel generator.

Running Challenges with Friends

When the wheel lands, a winner dialog opens showing the challenge name — plus an emoji if you've added one to that entry. From there you can share the result directly to X, WhatsApp, or Facebook, or copy it to clipboard to paste into your Discord server. The share includes the result text and the page URL, so your crew can open the same wheel and spin their own challenge in turn.

The Remove Winner toggle below the wheel is useful for group sessions where no one should repeat a challenge in the same night. Turn it on and each spin removes the winning entry from the pool automatically, so the wheel cycles through every challenge before anyone doubles up.

Spin history for the session appears under the wheel in reverse order, so you can see at a glance what's already been done. If you want a clean slate at the start of a new session, hit Clear.

Making It Harder (or Easier)

Weights are the quickest way to tune difficulty. Stack weight on the milder challenges like Race Only or Golf Round if your group is new to self-imposed runs. Push weight onto Melee Only, No Health Kits, and Chaos Mode for a harder rotation. You can also combine challenge concepts — add a custom entry like "Pistol Only + No Cars" if you want to stack two constraints in a single spin.

The Shuffle on Spin toggle randomises entry order before each spin without affecting the underlying fairness — useful if you want the visual unpredictability of a constantly shifting wheel. And if the default Carnival palette isn't your style, there are 16 colour palettes to choose from in the Customize panel, plus a Shuffle colors button to mix up the current palette order.

For board game nights where you need a similar random-picker setup away from a screen, see the board game wheel. Or browse the full wheels directory for more ready-made spinners.

Frequently asked

Q.01

what does chaos mode mean in gta challenge wheel

The wheel's Chaos Mode entry has no fixed rules — the intent is maximum mayhem with no self-imposed constraints, so the player decides moment-to-moment what counts as chaotic enough.

Q.02

can you stack two gta challenges at once on the wheel

Yes — add a custom entry like 'Pistol Only + No Cars' to combine two of the 12 preset constraints into a single spin result.
