What challenges are on the fortnite challenge wheel?
Every entry is a recognised community challenge that changes how you approach a match:
- No Building — pure gunfight, no box-up safety net.
- Pistols Only — one weapon class, every engagement.
- Sniper Only — patience and aim over spray.
- Melee Only — pickaxe or bust.
- 1 HP Start — drop with a single point of health and find heals fast.
- Speed Run — finish the match in the shortest time possible.
- Zero Loot — no items, no weapons beyond what spawns in your hands.
- SMG Only — close-range chaos from drop to final circle.
- Trap Only — kills must come from placed traps.
- Vehicle Only — mobility as your primary weapon.
- Emote Kills — emote on downed opponents to finish them, no exceptions.
- Squad Wipe — victory only counts if you eliminate every member of at least one full squad.
These are the kind of self-imposed rules that turn a routine pub match into something worth clipping. The wheel removes the argument about who picks the challenge.
Swapping, hiding, or adding your own challenges
The 12 entries are pre-loaded, but the wheel is fully editable. If your group has house rules — "Shotgun Only" is a common one — type it into the entry field and press Enter. Any challenge you want to skip for a session can be hidden with the eye toggle; it stays in the list but won't come up in spins. You can also duplicate an entry to make it land more often, or set a higher numeric weight on entries you want favoured. Drag the grip handle to reorder entries if you prefer a specific visual layout on the wheel.
If you want to build a completely custom challenge set from scratch, the wheel generator gives you a blank slate.
Using the wheel with a squad
Pull up the page on a shared screen before the lobby countdown. Whoever is streaming or recording hits the big Spin button, the wheel animates with spin sound and a winner dialog, and everyone sees the result at the same time. The winner dialog has a share button — tap it to send the challenge name and page link directly to your squad's group chat on WhatsApp or X so nobody can claim they didn't see it.
The per-session spin history underneath the wheel logs every challenge you've rolled in order, so you can look back across a long session without trying to remember what you already did.
For other gaming decisions — ban picks, turn order, team assignment — the gaming wheels hub has more options.
