What's on the Fortnite Drop Location Wheel
The wheel comes loaded with 12 classic Fortnite named locations. That mix covers everything from the chaos of Tilted Towers to the quieter edges at Weeping Woods and Craggy Cliffs. Whether you drop hot, drop late, or drop somewhere you'd never choose yourself, the wheel covers the full range of the map's action density.
You can edit the list to match the current season's map. If a location has been vaulted or replaced, delete it with the X next to its name and type in the new one. You can also paste a whole list at once using the bulk import text area — handy if you want to swap the entire location set after a major map update.
How the Fortnite Drop Location Wheel Helps Your Squad
The most common pre-game argument in Fortnite is where to drop. One player wants Tilted, another wants to avoid it entirely, and someone always suggests somewhere nobody else has loot-tested. Spinning the wheel removes the negotiation. The result is final, random, and the same for everyone in the lobby looking at the screen.
It also doubles as a challenge tool. Set the wheel to include locations you'd normally skip — Slurpy Swamp, Frenzy Farm, Sweaty Sands — and commit to whatever it lands on. Playing unfamiliar drop spots is one of the faster ways to improve game sense, and a random picker removes the temptation to stay in your comfort zone.
If your group runs elimination tournaments or custom lobbies, you can use the Remove Winner toggle (found below the wheel). With it on, each location is removed after it's picked, so every player or team in a rotation gets a unique drop — no repeats until you reset.
Customising the Wheel for Your Format
Entry weights let you bias the wheel toward locations you want to practise more. Click into any entry's weight field and raise the number — Retail Row at weight 3 and everything else at weight 1 means Retail Row is roughly three times as likely to land. Useful if your squad is grinding a specific POI for scrims.
The eye-toggle next to each entry hides it from spins without deleting it. If you know the bus route makes a certain drop unrealistic on a given match, toggle it off and spin — it stays in your list for next time without any fuss.
For colour and style, pick from 16 preset palettes in the Customize panel — Neon or Midnight suit the Fortnite aesthetic well — and choose between Pin, Arrow, or Classic pointer styles. Spin duration can be set to 3, 5, or 10 seconds depending on how much suspense your group wants before the drop decision lands.
If you want to build a wheel from scratch for a different game or a fully custom location list, the wheel generator lets you start with a blank slate. Browse other gaming wheels for more randomisers built around specific titles.
