What's on the TV Show Wheel
The wheel comes loaded with 12 shows that span decades and genres: prestige crime dramas like The Sopranos, The Wire, and Breaking Bad; long-running comedies like Friends and Seinfeld; critically adored modern picks like Succession, Fleabag, and Ted Lasso; plus Better Call Saul, Game of Thrones, The Office, and Sherlock. Every entry is equally weighted by default, so each show has the same chance of landing.
If your watchlist looks different, swap entries out. Delete any show you've already seen using the X next to its name, type in a replacement, and hit Enter. You can also hide a show with the eye-toggle — it stays in your list but gets skipped during spins, useful if you're mid-season and don't want it to come up again.
Customising the TV Show Wheel for Your Group
Picking for a group with wildly different tastes? Use Bulk Import to paste your own list — one show per line — and replace the defaults entirely. If your group already tracks candidates in a spreadsheet, the CSV upload reads the first column straight into the wheel, so you're not retyping anything.
Need more ideas beyond these 12? Hit the Ideas button and the wheel suggests additional shows based on what's already in your list. You can pick which suggestions to add and ignore the rest.
For weighting: if the group is happy to watch anything but one person really wants to avoid a particular show, give that entry a lower numeric weight. A weight of 1 (default) means equal odds; raise a weight to 2 or 3 and that show lands proportionally more often. Adjust the number directly in the entry row.
Once you've tailored the list, turn on Remove Winner below the wheel. Every spin pulls a show out of the pool — keep spinning to build a ranked watch order for the whole list without any repeats.
Sharing the Result
When the wheel lands, a winner dialog shows the chosen show. From there you can share the result directly to WhatsApp, X (Twitter), or Facebook, or copy it to clipboard to drop into wherever your group is chatting. The share includes the show name and the page URL — useful for sending a friend straight to the tv show wheel spinner so they can run their own spin.
Spins from the current session are also logged in the history panel below the wheel, so you can see every show that's come up without having to remember.
Looking for something more specific? The Entertainment hub has wheels for other categories, and if anime is on the table, the anime wheel is worth a spin. If you'd rather build a wheel from scratch around your own niche watchlist, the wheel generator starts blank and you add whatever you like. You can also browse the full wheels directory for more ready-made pickers.
