What's on the Disney Movie Wheel
The wheel starts with 12 films that span Disney's modern golden eras: The Lion King, Frozen, Moana, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Encanto, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Coco, and Big Hero 6. That's a mix of hand-drawn classics, Pixar hits, and newer musical adventures — enough variety that whoever's watching is likely to find something they love.
Every entry gets an equal-sized slice by default, so each film has the same fair shot at landing under the pointer. If your group has a clear favourite they're hoping to avoid, you can hide that entry with the eye-toggle — it stays in the list but gets skipped during spins.
Customise the List for Your Night
The 12 pre-loaded titles are a starting point. If your household has already seen half of them this month, delete the ones you've worn out by hitting the X next to each entry. Want to add newer releases or personal favourites not on the list? Type a title into the entry field and press Enter — it joins the wheel immediately.
Adding a longer list? Use the bulk import: paste a newline-separated list of film titles into the text area and they all land on the wheel at once. The Ideas button can also suggest additional Disney titles if you're blanking on what to add. For a themed family challenge, try building a list of only Disney Princess films or only Pixar sequels, then spin to decide the marathon order.
If some films are firm crowd favourites, raise their weight using the numeric input on that entry row — a higher weight gives that title a proportionally larger slice and a better chance of winning. It's a handy way to bias the wheel toward films younger kids can sit through, without removing the options entirely.
Using Remove Winner for a Disney Movie Marathon
Planning to watch more than one film? Flip on the Remove Winner toggle below the wheel before your first spin. Each time the wheel lands, that film is removed from the pool automatically — so you'll spin through every title in a random order without any repeats. Spin all 12 and you've got a spontaneous Disney marathon sorted without a single argument about what's next.
The session history panel beneath the wheel keeps a running list of every winner in reverse order, so you can glance back at the full marathon lineup at any point during the night.
Sharing the Result
Once the wheel lands, a winner dialog pops up with the film title. Hit the share button to send the result via your phone's native share sheet, copy it to clipboard, or post it straight to X or WhatsApp. The shared message includes the winning title and a link back to this page — useful if you want to send friends to the disney movie wheel so they can spin their own pick before a group watch.
For more random entertainment picks beyond Disney, browse the Entertainment wheels hub or try the Anime Wheel if the group wants something different. You can also build a wheel from scratch if you want to mix Disney titles with films from other studios.
