What's on the Netflix Wheel

The wheel comes loaded with 12 shows that cover a wide range of what Netflix does best: gripping drama, sci-fi horror, international thrillers, and prestige period pieces. The full list is Stranger Things, Wednesday, Squid Game, The Crown, Bridgerton, Ozark, Money Heist, The Witcher, Dark, Narcos, Black Mirror, and You. That mix of English-language originals and international hits — German, Spanish, Korean — means wherever the wheel lands, you're in for something seriously watchable.

Already seen half the list? Hide any show you've finished using the eye toggle next to its entry. It stays in the list but gets skipped during spins, so you're only choosing from shows you actually want to watch.

Swap In Your Own Shows

The default 12 are a starting point. You can add any show you like — type a title into the entry field and press Enter. Want to load in a whole watchlist at once? Use the bulk import: paste your shows as a newline-separated list and they'll all be added in one go. You can also upload a .csv file if you've got a longer list saved somewhere.

If you can't think of what to add, hit the Ideas button and the wheel will suggest more entries based on what's already there. It's useful when you're drawing a blank on which shows to include. For anime specifically, the anime wheel has its own dedicated picker with a different entry set.

To weight the spin toward shows you're more in the mood for, set a higher number in the weight field on that entry's row. A show with a weight of 3 occupies a proportionally larger slice and wins more often than entries left at the default weight of 1.

Watching With Others — Group Decision Mode

This is where the wheel earns its keep. When two or more people can't agree on what to watch, nobody wants to be the one who "chose wrong." Letting the netflix wheel spinner decide removes the blame entirely — the wheel picked it, not you.

Turn on Remove Winner below the wheel before you start. Each spin removes the winner from the pool, so you can run through a ranked shortlist without repeating. If the group vetoes the first result, spin again and it won't come up again.

The winner dialog that appears after each spin has share buttons built in — you can send the result directly via WhatsApp, X, or your phone's native share sheet. Handy for settling a remote watch-party argument in a group chat.

Session History

Every result from your current session is logged in the spin history section below the wheel, newest first. If you lost track of what came up earlier in the evening, it's all there. The history only lasts for the session — once you close or refresh the tab it resets, so there's no clutter from previous visits.

You'll also find recent results across all wheels you've used in the history dropdown in the site header — useful if you've been spinning multiple entertainment wheels in the same sitting.
