What's on the dare wheel
The wheel comes loaded with 12 dares that work for most groups without needing any setup:
- Do a dance — no style required, just commit
- Sing loudly — any song, any key
- Talk in accent — pick one and hold it for at least a minute
- Wear hat backwards — simple, fast, slightly humiliating
- Do handstand — or a genuine attempt at one
- Speak like pirate — arrr, obviously
- Tell a scary story — bonus points for voice effects
- Prank call a friend — group watches, victim does not
- Do impression — celebrity, teacher, family member — your call
- Say alphabet backward — harder than it sounds, funnier with an audience
- Do 20 squats — everyone counts, everyone judges form
- Silly walk — across the room and back, full commitment
Every dare is physical or performative enough to get a reaction, but safe and prop-free — nothing here needs preparation or equipment.
Adjusting the dare list to fit your group
The pre-loaded list is a starting point. You can swap out any dare by clicking it in the entry panel, typing a replacement, and pressing Enter. Add your own dares the same way — type the text into the field and hit Enter, or paste a newline-separated batch into the bulk import area to add several at once.
If one dare doesn't suit your crowd — say, "Prank call a friend" at an office party — hit the eye icon next to it to hide it. It stays in the list but gets skipped during spins. No need to delete and retype it later.
Want some dare ideas you haven't thought of? Hit the Ideas button and the tool will suggest additional dares based on context. Use what fits, ignore what doesn't.
For a harder spin, the challenge wheel runs on the same format but leans toward tougher physical and mental challenges if your group wants more bite.
Running the game fairly
Turn on Remove Winner below the wheel and each dare disappears after it's been assigned — so no one gets the same dare twice until the list resets. With 12 dares and a group of, say, six players, everyone gets two unique dares before the pool empties.
The spin history section underneath the wheel keeps a running log of every result in the current session, so there's no argument about who got what. It stays in order for the duration of your game — clear it when you're ready to start fresh.
You can also adjust how likely each dare is to land. Each entry has a numeric weight — raise the weight on "Do 20 squats" if you want it to come up more often, or lower it to make it a rare result. The wheel slice sizes update to reflect whatever weights you've set.
