What's on the conversation starter wheel
The wheel comes loaded with 12 prompts chosen to work across very different groups — first dates, work socials, family dinners, and house parties. Here's the full set:

Each prompt is short enough to read off a spinning wheel and open-ended enough to go somewhere interesting. The either/or questions ("Beach or mountains?", "Coffee or tea?") are especially good at getting a room talking fast — everyone has an opinion and it costs nothing to share it.
Swap out prompts for your crowd
The 12 defaults suit a general group. Your group probably isn't general. Click any entry in the panel beside the wheel to edit it inline, or hit the X to remove prompts that don't fit your crowd. Adding your own is just as quick: type a question into the text field and press Enter.
If you want to bring a bigger list — say, 30 questions you've been collecting — paste them all at once using the bulk import text area, one question per line, and they'll be added in seconds. You can also upload a .csv file if you've already got your prompts saved in a spreadsheet.
Not sure what to add? Hit the Ideas button and the wheel will suggest extra conversation starters based on context. It won't always be a perfect match, but it's a solid starting point when you're drawing a blank.
Once your list is set, use the eye toggle on any entry to hide a prompt temporarily — it stays in the list but gets skipped during spins. That's handy if a question already came up and you don't want to land on it again without fully removing it.
Using "Remove Winner" so every spin brings a new topic
The Remove Winner toggle sits below the wheel. Turn it on and each winning prompt is pulled from the pool the moment the wheel stops. Work through all 12 questions without repeating a single one. When the pool runs dry, add fresh prompts or reload the page to start over with the defaults.
If you'd rather keep all prompts in play — great for when you want a quick random pick without any ceremony — leave the toggle off. The wheel treats every entry equally on every spin.
Making it yours for the occasion
The Customize panel lets you change the colour palette (16 options, from Carnival to Midnight to Bubblegum) and the pointer style. You can also give individual prompts their own colour by setting a hex value on the entry row — useful if you want to colour-code question types, like lighter shades for easy icebreakers and bolder ones for deeper questions.
Sound settings matter more than you'd think in a group. The spin sound adds anticipation; a countdown sound before each spin gives the room a moment to quiet down and watch. Dial the volume to match the noise level in the space, or mute everything if you're somewhere quieter.
