How to use the Prize Wheel

  1. 1

Customise the Prize Wheel entries to match your needs — click any slice to rename it, drag to reorder, or use the bulk import dialog to paste a list.

  2. 2

Tune each entry's weight with the ± stepper. Heavier slices win more often. The live % chip shows each entry's true win chance.

  3. 3

Hit the SPIN The Wheel button — or just press Space — and watch the wheel pick a winner. Switch sound effects in the customisation panel.

  4. 4

Share the result with the X, WhatsApp, Facebook, or copy buttons in the winner card. Toggle "Remove Winner" if you want each spin to remove the pick automatically.

Built for real giveaways

Most online prize wheels make every prize equally likely, which means handing out a $100 grand prize 1-in-10 spins. The Prize Wheel uses weighted slices so you can tune the odds the way real raffles work: lots of small wins, occasional medium wins, rare jackpots. The default deck ships with weights set, but you can edit anything.

For streams and live events

Plug the wheel onto a shared screen and let the audience watch the spin. The countdown sound (Customisation → Sounds → Countdown) adds 1.8 seconds of suspense before the rotor moves; the layered confetti and chime on landing make for shareable moments. The share buttons in the winner card include direct deep-links to X, WhatsApp, and Facebook for participants to brag.

For contests with rules

Toggle Remove Winner to prevent the same prize from being awarded twice. Use entry weights to make the grand prize statistically rare. The wheel's randomness is verifiable — every entry's win chance is shown live as a percentage next to its name.

Frequently asked

Q.01

How do I weight the prizes?

Click an entry, then use the ± stepper next to it. Higher numbers mean more likely. The % chip shows that entry's actual win chance based on the total weight.

Q.02

Is this random enough for a real contest?

For casual giveaways, yes — the browser's secure random number generator backs every pick. For regulated raffles where you need an audit trail, consult a licensed lottery system.

Q.03

Can I prevent the same prize from being won twice?

Yes. Toggle “Remove Winner” below the wheel — each pick is removed so subsequent spins choose only from remaining prizes.

Q.04

Can I add my company's branding?

The colour palette and font are customisable in the Wheel Customisation sheet. Match the wheel to your brand before the stream.
