Drag to reorder · ± steps weight · % shows win chance

How to use the Number Wheel

  1. 1

Customise the Number Wheel entries to match your needs — click any slice to rename it, drag to reorder, or use the bulk import dialog to paste a list.

  2. 2

Tune each entry's weight with the ± stepper. Heavier slices win more often. The live % chip shows each entry's true win chance.

  3. 3

Hit the SPIN The Wheel button — or just press Space — and watch the wheel pick a winner. Switch sound effects in the customisation panel.

  4. 4

Share the result with the X, WhatsApp, Facebook, or copy buttons in the winner card. Toggle "Remove Winner" if you want each spin to remove the pick automatically.

A better dice roll

The Number Wheel is a visual upgrade over a quick 1-to-10 roll. Spin to pick a random integer with the same fairness as a die, but with a bit more drama, sound, and shareability. Use it for game-night turn order, "I'm thinking of a number" challenges, or quick draws.

Custom ranges

Need 1–6 for a d6 simulator, or 1–20 for a d20, or 1–100 for a percentile roll? Edit the entries: clear the defaults and add the integers you need (Bulk Import is fastest — type the range in your favourite spreadsheet and paste). The wheel handles up to 100 slices comfortably.

Beyond integers

Number Wheel doesn't actually have to contain numbers. Replace the slices with anything you want random selection across: round counts, story prompts, lap orders. The wheel just picks one of whatever's there.

Frequently asked

Q.01

Can I pick a number outside 1–10?

Yes — edit any entry to be whatever number you want. To get 1–50, clear the defaults and add 50 new entries. Bulk Import lets you paste a range from Excel in one go.

Q.02

How do I avoid the same number twice?

Toggle “Remove Winner” below the wheel. Each picked number disappears from the wheel until you reset.

Q.03

Is this faster than rolling dice?

Probably not, but it's more dramatic and easier to share. It also handles ranges that physical dice can't (1–100 in one roll).

Q.04

Is the wheel truly random?

Yes — it uses the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator. Each entry gets a chance proportional to its weight (which defaults to equal).
